As the tarp surfing conditions went to crap, the surfing conditions became ideal with little to no wind and perfect conditions in the morning these past few days. In comparison to the past week and a half of flat, windy waves, 3-4 ft glassy barrels north of the equator, were a pleasant retreat.

This past week there were perfect conditions and incoming swell for tarp surfing. Knowing this a week prior, we called up a friend/ barrel maestro from France, Eneko Elosegi. So he flew into San Diego to get perfect tarp wavves. Day one was at the popular spot, The Lot, with perfect 6ft side/offshore barrels with Eneko, Israel, Buzzy (Josh) and me. Day two was a quick/fantastic sesh a secret spot in which you must inquire to a warden to get in. There Loukas, Buzzy and I enjoyed flawless little offshore barrels.
