Roasting weanies(Over a roaring fire)

SSS Competitions are famous for their excellent conditions and the most recent comp at Avalanche in OB really exemplified this quality. High Schools(including Coronado High School and High Tech High of which Jake, Daniel and I attend) from all over San Diego County came out to compete and assert their dominance. We of Brown Trout Productions were greeted at six in the morning with classic conditions: glassy, semi-closed, one foot surf. As the tide dropped the surf picked up along with the wind. I was knocked out in the quarter-finals. Daniel managed to get second and Jake Stutz got fifth in the finals. Enjoy the pics...
